We would like to welcome you to CHARTER and reassure you that here we put you first. You will feel seen and heard, and everything that you do will be about you, so much so that at times we have created a programme or group specifically to meet the needs of the people we are treating. Launched in 2008, we have now helped 100s, if not 1000s of people and their families to find recovery and we continue to do so every day…it’s our passion. Here’s a few reasons people have told us that makes CHARTER stand out from the rest:
Please take the time to read our testimonials. We are profoundly moved by the sincerity of what people write about us and proud of the service we provide. You will see that over and again our clients tell us that never before have they felt so supported. We really try to understand where you are and to help you get hold of a framework that can carry you through this difficult time and into your future. We also work with the family wherever possible and provide the education and emotional support to you all that is vital on this journey to regaining trust and self respect, and to getting your feet back on the ground.
We recognise that money is always a factor and we have worked hard to keep our prices manageable. We provide several different payment options that allow you to spread the cost, and design programmes and provide therapy options that are reasonably priced. We make sure you get what you pay for too. For example, our flagship day programme averages 6-7 hours of therapy per day, excl breaks, at half the price of residential treatment. We know our programmes are fantastic value.
We understand how hard it can be to put the time aside to focus on yourself, so we have developed a number of proven treatment options to suit your changing availability and still meet your clinical needs. These range from day and evening programmes, to workshops and individualised therapy. We believe nothing should stand in the way of getting well.
Coming to CHARTER means that, unlike a residential programme, you don’t have to disappear from your life. You still go home at the end of each day, you can stay connected to your family and still work and see friends alongside changing your life in the most profound way you can imagine.
We know you will feel vulnerable when you are considering treatment, and so it’s a priority for us to help you to feel safe and at home when you embark on this journey of change, and this is exactly what you find here at CHARTER. The relationships here go back a long way and are reflected in the feel and friendliness as soon as you walk in the door. Founder Mandy Saligari has handpicked her team for their expertise and experience, and has chosen people she has worked with and known for many years. CHARTER has a family feel, we don’t use sessional therapists and you get to know everyone here…this warmth makes all the difference.
Located in central London just by the BT tower we are easy to get to and from. We are near all the main train stations and at a cross section of all the main London Underground lines. Tardis-like, our offices extend beyond our discreet front door to encompass three light and airy floors dedicated to wellbeing and change.
We take what we do very seriously. Our claims of success are evidenced by our thriving recovery community of alumni and their families, many of whom are readily available to talk to you if you wish. We know it works if you work it, because we see it happen, day after day, one step at a time. Let us help it to happen to you…
