We believe that any self-destructive pattern of behaviour, like an addictive process, is usually a desperate attempt to repress underlying issues that have often gone on for years. We also know that a happier, more fulfilled life can be achieved by first stopping the negative behaviours and then facing the emotions and experiences that lie beneath, and although this can be very scary, we can absolutely support you to achieve this. We believe in a combination of group and individual therapy as well as workshops to gain the best results:
• Group Therapy fractures isolation and provides you with an extraordinary opportunity to identify and expand your understanding which can profoundly boost self-esteem and motivate a recovery process
• Individual Therapy gives you private time with someone committed to really listening to you, so you can start unravelling your own thoughts and feelings in a safe and supported environment
• Workshops give you that intensive, targeted leg-up just when its needed
All our clients at CHARTER are initially assessed in a private 90 minute session with a senior therapists where we take a detailed history, giving us an opportunity to listen to you and then decide with you the best course of action.
