We were the first in London to specialise in private addiction treatment solely in an outpatient setting, targeting the maladaptive behaviours that often aren’t seen as addiction, until its too late…and we have been vastly successful.
We do what we say, we make no false claims with unsubstantiated rates, simply our track record speaks for itself.
Experience informs us that sustainable recovery is best gained when you work on it in real life. Don’t go away to get well, and set yourself up for the anxieties of transition back home, unless you really have to in which case come for aftercare. Develop recovery around your friends, your family and your work or uni life so it is rooted in real life, and so that any problems you encounter can be worked through with the unparalleled support CHARTER provides.
As is testified by our thriving recovery community, its not only possible to get well, at CHARTER it is probable; you just need to keep coming back. To help you do that, the members of the CHARTER team are inspiring, remarkable in their knowledge and experience around treating addiction and very much at home here. We have known and worked together for many many years which is a game changer when treating addiction where there is so often resistance to properly going the distance. You will never feel like a number here. Instead you will quickly feel part of the CHARTER family, a sense of belonging that will help you to want to keep coming back.
Our approach is simple – what works works. Using a wealth of experience in a multi-disciplinary team, we apply all that we know to meet your needs and to get you well.
CHARTER’s team of counsellors and psychotherapists are experienced, insured and qualified to treat a range of emotional and behavioural difficulties. We very rarely employ sessional therapists, rather we have developed a cohesive team who work closely together and continue to attend training updates together. We offer one-to-one sessions, workshops, group therapy, trauma therapy, body therapy, art therapy, family sessions, and couples therapy. We also have therapists on our team who are fluent in other languages, please ask the office for more details.
We are proud to work closely with a number of well-established consultants too who are specialists in areas that are often vital to successful treatment outcomes.
